Have got a head cold. In the past i used to take the fizzy vit C and zinc tablets.

Am SS, so would like to know what i can take to shift this cold?

Hmm with a head cold I reckon a good steam over some vapour rub in water will help loads. Also you can take paracetemol. If you're really desperate ask at the chemist if they have any sugar free (I think suitable for diabetic) remedies

Sorry you're feeling poorly!

My CDC told me to make a hot water and CD fruit flavouring drink and take it with a couple of paracetemol. You do get the Lemsip 'ahhhh' factor with it, actually - very nice and comforting when you're feeling rotten.
