Same journey... Totally new shoes!

Slimming world has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I have PCOS (with insulin resistance) and I damaged my spine when I was younger.

At my heaviest I was 19stone. 12 months ago I'd dropped to where I am now at 16.8 and I was running 3 times a week, going to the gym, snowboarding. A few broken bones and a crash diet or two later I landed myself back at 18stone and stepping on the slimming world scales.

It took a few weeks but this time, it feels like it's clicked for myself and the hubster whose on the journey with me.

We are on plan 90% of the time. And we are happy with that, because this time, we aren't self sabotaging, we take blips for what they are etc etc. He's lost nearly 3 stone, my loss has been slower but I'm back on a plan that works for me (SW but I only have starchy / high GI carbs after exercise or as one meal in the evening. No fruit but lots of veg and protein)

So yeah. It's the same journey but each step feels just that little bit more comfortable than the last. It's new shoe day.
