So much deliciousness - so little syns
I found a brill recipe in the desserts section of this board for ice cream - at 3.5 syns - yes, you heard me right!!
I have been making it as follows:
1/2 tub of Total 0% Greek Yogurt (free)
1/2 tub of Quark (free)
1 sachet of Options (most flavours 2.5 syns but beware of limited edition ones that might be more!)
1 teaspoon of strawberry OR raspberry jam, OR lemon curd (for a lemon one) OR even marmalade for a choc-orange one!
Splenda or other sweetner to taste (I used about 2 teaspoons)
Mix all the ingredients together. Resist the temptation to eat it straight out of the bowl
Pop it in the freezer for about 45 minutes to an hour (stirring once half way through) and voila - as near as dammit to ice cream for minimal syns!
It's creamy, slightly cheese-cakey and like slightly melted ice cream in texture.
Leave it in longer if you like it rock solid!
