Hi Sonkie

I recommend you check out simply be, they are a little pricey but they do gorgeous and fashionable clothes:

On the high street try

Anne Harvey - I am not sure what sizes they go up to...

Marks and Spencer's Plus size collection goes up to size 28.

If you are on a budget check out:

Yours or Bonprix or big girl's wardrobe

All have cheap and fashionable clothes, although if you order from Bonprix you may have a little wait as their clothes come from france...

Hope that helps

And btw check out my blog - I have loads of links to plus size clothes shops on the left hand side...

Luv and Hugs, CC xx x xx

Hi Sonkie,

an idea depending on what you have to spend and how much more you want to lose. Buy a few nice items from the shops and have a gander on ebay to see what people are offering and save the pennies.

Avoid H&M unless you have a big ego. Their sizes are messed up. Ive known someone who was in 18s else where having to buy a 24 in there. Not good for the soul.

Yeh I have used fashion world for my tents for the last few years so it will be really weird to be able to go into town......I must be able to get in the Evans clothes now. SHOUTS TO HUBBY " get your wallet we are going shopping".......lol.

Hi Sonia I used to work at Evans and so know that they go up to a size 30/32. You'll be absolutely fine there! I was going to say that they have a sale on at the moment so you could pick up some bargains but seen as your hubby's paying, sod that, go for something fabulous!!!!
Good luck xx

Hey guys well I went shopping and got a few tops, will make do with my jogging bottoms for now....well I got size 26/28 omg I was so excited and to be able to get the tops over my shoulders too.
My last experience of Evans was not good, I tried a 30/32 on and scrapped it on, but could not get it back off over my shoulders.....well I had to shout hubby in to help me ...lol

I can laugh at it now, but how embarassing !

I had a good "non-stretchy" trouser suit in my wardrobe, size 28. It hadn't fit me for ages, but after I had lost 3 stone, I figured that it would fit. I went to try it on, in good sprits - and it STILL didn't fit, well not properly anyway. It was one of the all time low points on my diet. I just felt SO disappointed that after losing 3 stone, size 28 still didn't fit. I felt like the mountain was just too high to climb, and came the closest I ever came, to giving up. SO, when this size 28 trouser suit eventually DID fit, I was very happy indeed. Keep on Sonkie, in the summer you'll be in a size 14.
