sorry to hear you have such discomfort...have you been taking enough water?
You could try the Psillium husks ( no idea if that is the right spelling!),a lot of people use them for extra roughage whilst on a meal replacement diet.

Because we are getting no "roughage" we are prone to our stools drying out making them more difficult to pass.

You can get a fibre supplement from your CD to help this. Fibre supplements don't agree with me so I use Ducolease capsuleswhich you can buy from a chemist; it's basically a greaser and helps keep the stool soft and easier to pass.

If you find you get a bit bunged up making it too difficult to pass you can get glycerin suppositories from the chemist too that you put up and leave for an hour or so and it will sort that out for you.

Spot the girl for whom other peoples stools used to be part of her day to day life :p

i take a green tea tablet every night, which to me i find works lovely and not as expensive as the fibre stuff.:)
