Been thinking about my target weight joined at 11 st 4 lbs, got to my first target of 9 12 and lowered by another 7 to 9 5. I am now only 2 and half to target, but how do people decide on their target weight, at ww you are told what weight to be but on sw it is up to yourself, how are you all judging your target? by how you feel perhaps? or using weight chart, would be interested to know lol xx
 
I looked at the Bmi chart and measured my wrist to find out if I had a small medium or large frame to see where I should be within the healthy weight range for my height...max weight is 10 st 6 for a healthy weight for my height...lowest 7 st 10...
I am a medium build so went for the middle to upper end of the weight for my height...I started at 15 st 6.5 lbs and this seemed far away as I've never been it before especially so I went for 10 st 2 initially...Now I have changed it to 9ST 13...Am thinking of lowering it again..but am going to wait til I get closer to see what my body is like at that weight...

I think its personal choice and just go with what you and your body are happy with? Ive lost 3 st 2.5lbs so far and am 12 st 4 but this is no where near where I need to be to be healthy, I can see it on me and I have too much wobble still so I am going to carry on...

Hi fiddlegirl, i am not sure if i am quite there yet, still got chunky legs but perhaps just need to tone, i have been on the ww height weight chart and says i need to lose another stone i feel this is too much, i will look at the wrist measurement to see frame size, well done fiddlegirl for the fab loss xx

Just done the wrist measure i am 5 foot 1 inch tall wrist measures 6 inch so am large frame it says 125-140 pounds on the weight chart so this is 8-13 to 10 stone, mid way is 9 6 1/2 so perhaps i am not too bad after all, my current target is 9-5, may aim for low end of 9 stone if i can xx

Boofle could you find out what my weight should be please. My wrist measurement is 7 inches. I am 5ft 61/2 ins. I would like to know what my `ideal weight is`

Hi nannydoreen using the same chart as i did for myself, you are large frame, there are no half heights so for 5 foot 6 it is 140-159 pounds and 5 foot 7 is 143 - 163 pounds hope this helps xx

Never managed to get to my group this week, had an awful week been very stressed so couldnt be bothered to eat and when i do its not the best of things i have been having hopefully going to get back to normality this week and get focused again definately had a gain this week

Thanks for that Boofle. I will accept the higher one of 163lbs. That is equal to 11st 9lbs.

I do remember many years ago being 11st 4lbs and have seen photos of myself from then and I did not know how slim I looked.
 
I have just measured my wrist to determine body frame and it is 5.5 inches. Apparently I have a small frame and ideally should knock 14 lbs off my goal weight but at 9st 13 I imagine I would lose my boobs and my face would look gaunt. I shall see how things go.... for now my eyes are on the normal BMI prize. :) xx

Well used al my syns over the weekend, dont get weighed until sat, not doing this again, it is no good without a syn to look forward to each day, i think i will have to go over on syns, for some reason i cannot think of anything else but syns xx
 
Boofle, why not try and incorporate something syn wise into your healthy options like an Alpen light bar or hi-fi bar? 2 of the hi-fi light chocolate bars totally make 2 great mini treats at the end of the day :)
 
Maintain for me this week - thrilled as I didn't really follow the plan at all this week, just had good meals and bad meals.

Onwards and downwards this week - going into it 100%!
