    Can you take something like Adios while you are doing this diet to help speed up the metabolism? xx

    No would be the official answer. Try some gentle extra walking rather than interfering with your body system, and improve your heart health at the same time.

    Adios contains a lot of diuretic ingredients, and as CD is already quite dehydrating I wouldn't risk it.

    A stone a month is better than anywhere else, if it aint broke don't fix it!

    my problem is I can't do a lot of walking because I have had DVT's and my leg swells daily. Oh well it was just a thought xx

    Hi Wabbit, on the small calories that we have on ss we shouldnt need to burn them quicker.
    I read a post recently which said excessive exercise (which i suppose would be the same as upping your metabolism artificially) can actually slow your weightloss as your body holds onto the fat to preserve itself.

    I know a lot of people who lose weight on CD only exercise gently to tone up etc and not as a fat burning thing.

    You are ding great so far, keep it up!
