Slimming while in venice!

Hey fellow slimmers!
I am off to Venice for 4 days tomorrow! Eek so excited but I am in week 1 of slimming world and I don't want to end up putting all the weight I've lost back on! I started on Monday so have tried really hard all week! And i got on the scales- I know it's naughty but I've lost 5 lbs!! I really don't want to let it all go back on and de motivate myself at my first weigh in! Any tips for slimming whilst abroad? I'm not going to drink and am going to stick to pasta? But I can't really go all the way to Italy and not have an ice cream? Help!!!

a glass or 2 of the canal water after every meal will help.. it won't stay in for long enough to cause a gain :)

i would go and just enjoy yourself but not go to overboard! (ha get it )
Have whatever you fancy in moderation
you may find your walking so much more that it may compensate

have a drink if ya fancy, maybe a spirit with a diet mixer?

as shirleen says you can have a gelato now and again, have it in a tub rather than a cone to save some syns. And the italians usually just use small glasses for wine, not like us brits with our bottle in a glass mentality, so its easier to keep track and not go over the top.

The pasta is fantastic as is the risotto, they're always be a seafood one and the seafood is lush too.

Also you will be doing loads of walking around, so that'll be your body magic!
