I made it the other day exactly as website says, although was nice something felt 'missing' not sure if its because im used to full fat everything added bolognase LOL.... as anyone added anything that made it get the umph back lol.... or am i going to have to get used to it lol

I found I had to put extra Oxo cubes in mine, plus more garlic than they suggest.

I add chilli flakes and a splash of balsamic vinegar to passata, tom puree, veg stock, mixed herbs and garlic then add to my veg and meat mix.

It always tastes great! much better than jar stuff and never any complaints.

Interesting tip re: blendin of tinned toms - I found my bolognese really watery last night.

Chilli and garlic for me - I also put courgette and peppers in it x

I always put a bit of red wine in mine as it makes it really tasty. Obviously you have to count the syns but it works out to about 2 syns per portion...I reckon they are 2 syns well spent! :)

i use tom puree, i think its 0.5 syns per tbsp, and let it simmer fora good while.
Since dieting i havent bought a jar of anything! love making it all from scratch now. x
