Slimming World changes?

Hi

I last did Slimming World in 2013 and am starting up again but don't think I will be joining a class.

Can someone help with the new rules? I do EE but has the 1/3 rule changed? Would a side salad for example or steamed veg still count as a 1/3 or not on a plate?

Hi there, no the rule hasn't changed, this still applies. Good luck with your weight loss :)
 
EE is basically the same. A few fruits have been changed from superfree (now called speed) to only free, so wouldn't count in your third. I can't check my old book right now, but I think if you stick to the ones marked with the S symbol you'd be fine. And some of the Healthy Extra values have changed but they've mostly gone up (e.g. 35g oats now instead of 30g) so won't harm you to use existing amounts.
