You have red and green days, each of these days has free foods and then you have super free which you can eat on both days (fruit and veg), these are unlimited, each as much as you want.

Each day you can have 4 Healthy Extras, these are your milk, cheese, breads, beans, pasta etc. On top of all that you have syns, which allow you to have the nice little treats like choc, sweets, alcohol etc.

I have found SW to be great for me, I am never hungry, I haven't had to ban foods and I have lost weight every week. :)

thanks very much for that information that really helps as i am currently doing the cd and have lost 2 stone,and fill i need to start having some foods again

I started doing CD the weight loss below is from SW only. SW rocks, I love it because it is so easy, dont have to worry about points, and if you are hunrgy there is sooooooooooooo many free foods you can eat esp mullar lights! you can even make ice cream with mullar lights:). 5 -15 syns a day too, you cant go wrong, im sure other WW's can give you their opinion/benefits of WW too.

Thanks Ruth,you have very good weigh loss,how much you have to loose? Is there any one who could try and explain the diet or is there a book or sticky i can read?

Bumpy explained it quite well. Your red days are made up of mostly protein and your healthy extra's are carbohydrate based. Your green days are carbs and your healthy B's are protein based. Free food is most fruit and veg then either lean meat or fish on red days or pasta/ rice / potatoes etc on green. You eay however much of the "free" foods you like (til you're no longer hungry) but measure out specific weights of the healthy extra's. Theres no calorie / fat counting and you never have to be hungry as the free foods are so vesatile. Theres also a fab website (which you'll be able to access after registering) which contains loads of recipes and a syn counter. HTH :)

I would advise you to go to class to get the SW book, alternitively you can go on ebay and bid on some there.
I have got another 4 st to lose again
