Slow weight loss?

    Ive been doing slimming world for over a month now, and everybodys weight seems to be going down faster than mine :( my consultant told me not to be disheartened, as i seem to just lose half a pound every week, but its hard to take when you see people who dont follow the plan and lose 2-3lbs, compared to those who follow it religiously and lose half a pound. Has anyone else had this problem? I expected weight loss to slow after a couple of months, not by the second week :/ Im not expecting a miracle or anything-but going away from those scales makes me feel like this might not be the right plan for me

    Babe I'm going through the same thing at the moment and I've lost count of the amount of posts now where I've said it's so disheartening looking at some people's amazing losses when it isn't like that for some people.

    I think there are many things to consider that could be slowing things down for me and these are the things I'm taking on board
    - Drinking more water
    - Keeping positive - everyone's different
    - Mixing it up a bit - eating red/green/ee
    - Making that flipping speed soup everyone's talking about
    - Keep exercising
    - Take your measurements for the weeks you're not losing to see a reduction in inches at least!!
    - Not weighing in during the week - that really affects me and annoys me
    - when I feel hungry going for superfrees and if I don't want superfrees I'm not hungry (This has been a real inspiration and kept me on track)
    - Doing the scan bran thang..

    Don't get me wrong I have NO IDEA whether any of this will make a blind bit of difference but it's got to be worth a try!

    There's another thread about this a few pages back. Try and do a search and you might find it as there are lots of replies. I'm another one who loses slowly so i know how you feel hon.

    this post is almost identical to one i wrote at the beginning of this week.....i was so deflated by my small loses that i had forgotten how far i had come.....someone suggested that i do a food diary on here and be completely honest in it, which i have done since, you will see a link to it under my post, try not to be too disheartened and if u want to follow my diary we can chat there and give each other more support if u wanna chat to someone in the same boat!

    And me, getting there very slowly. But we will all get there in the end, just keep going, I know its hard, but try not to compare your losses to others. I sometimes do, and it just makes it even harder to deal with. Sending smilie to cheer you up:)

    thank u all so much for you support, i did feel like giving up, but have finally managed to get my half a stone award which im happy about after following 'the scan bran thang' lol and switching to more green days. Fingers crossed it helps me every week, youve al been so lovely posting the links aswell, they have been inspirational!
