I think losing slowly means you will keep it off. I don't know why everybody is in such a rush, SW isn't a quick fix it's a plan you can follow for life. It took time to get to the weight you are now and it will take time to get it off!

:)

I know it seems like we want it to magically disapear but i suppose its just that some people go through tough old ride as i have been trying to lose weight (gained 6stone through illness over 2years) and been trying to lose weight for 3years since and still only 8.5lb smaller than when i first came. I used to lose well then i got ill and i either gained weight, maintained or lost tiny amount so after a while it feels like a long hard battle and can be a big kick in our confidence, im sure im not alone in feeling that way lol

Been to docs today and she thinks on top of my gall bladder/liver problems my other symptoms all point to thyroid problems and may explain my inability to lose much weight, heavy head sweats, extreme fatigue, dry skin, brittle nails, long term sore throat and loads of other symptoms ive reported over last year, could explain a lot as last year another doctor said my blood tests were slightly off but not enough to warrent a diagnoses of thyroid prob at that point, she thinks it could have been an early sign of it back then x got to wait till after the gallbladder removal operation at the end of next month to have a scan on throat and other tests as had barium swallow last year which showed nothing x hope they find whats wrong and can treat it then i can finally kick this extra load off me lol

You are right though, SW isnt a quick fix, but its definately helped me and my family to re-evaluate our way of eating and have a much healthier way of life :)

Xx
