Snack tips

Morning all,

It's back to school for my 2 tomorrow which means its back to normal working hours for me. I know when I am sat at my desk with the rest of the office snacking on buttered toast, crisps & biscuits I will need to have some SW friendly goodies up my sleeve to keep me focused.

So just wondered if you guys have any tips or favourites. I have been very good with my fruit & have had the odd packet of Skips but any tips would be greatly received. I'm off to Morrisons later so can stock up!

Thank you

There is a huge thread in the syn values subforum all about low syn treats and also worth looking out the threads on snacks in the the recipe section :)

Hi hun, heres a few ideas:

- You could make SW pizza's (smash or on HxB pitta) passata, ham, pineapple topping - you could cut it up into small slices.
- SW scotch eggs
- Batchelors savoury rice, low fat super-noodles, pasta & sauce or mugshots (all free)
- Bernard Matthews chicken breast/turkey breast slices (free)
- Boiled eggs
- SW mini quiches
- Cold chicken drumsticks (skin removed, free)
- Fruit salad
- 2 Alpen light bars (HxB)
- Pasta salad
- Fresh pineapple and cheese chunks (HxA) on cocktail sticks (or you could do the same with fruit, you could even dip it in a fat-free yoghurt)
- Hartleys low calorie jelly pots (0.5 syns)
- Ryvita (HxB) with Philadelphia Light 57g (HxB on Green & EE)
- Mattessons Mighty bite chicken on a stick (0.5 syns Red & EE)
- Mattessons fridge raiders roast chicken bites (3 syns on Red & EE)
- Mattesons fridge raiders southern fried chicken bites (2.5 syns on Red & EE)
- Cadburys highlights chocolate mousse (3 syns)
- Weight Watchers rich chocolate dessert (3 syns)

Also, for a sweet treat, you could make some SW friendly cakes
