I just got back from weigh in and I've gained a whole 3lb! I know I had a bad week the week before but this one I've been better, my jeans didn't feel tighter or anything! And I worked my arse off at the gym and karate. I feel like quitting, I just cannot get my head into the right frame of mind! Before I'd hardly use any syns but now it's like I don't care if I do go over. Any suggestions? I need to get my head back in the game :sigh:

Dont give up, have a 100% this week and I bet you loose next week. You have done great so far, please dont quit now!

probably too much excercise and not enough syns...up your syns a little or cut down the excercise.

think it takes a while for your body to adjust to heavy excerising.

If you're feeling well in self and your jeans are looser, maybe you had an inch loss week? As in, have you been doing exercises etc?

Don't give up sweetie - stay happy and well done on looser jeans xxxx

do you do a combined food diary with excerising? if not it might be an idea to do it and record in that everything that you do and the loss/gain for that week to see if you can see a pattern in the excersising side of things .doesnt need to be anything fancy...just three columns - a for total syns in the day b for how many hours of exercises and what it was then c for the weekly loss/gain

I just can't seem to manage a 100% week, I don't know why but I just can't do it. I start out each day with good intentions then by the evening I've had alsorts I know I shouldn't.
Maybe I am over doing the exercise, I'll cut down on the gym so I'm not so ravenous constantly!

usually my first two/three days after weigh in are my danger days so need to keep an eye on myself.

when it comes to late afternoon go and do something to distract you and to keep you going till your evening meal. keep some syn free food with you and a huge thought in your head when you want to divert that i (or we!!) will come and sort you out if you dont toe the line!!:p

You must do a food diary. Are you having enough free food. If you're doing loads of exercise then you need to balance that with plenty of protein or your body will hang onto everything for dear life. You could be retaining water in your muscles. It takes 3,500 cals to put on 1 lb of fat so most of that gain if not all must be water, and that soon comes off. BUT, if you don't do the plan properly you won't lose weight, I should know, I fannied about for years, and if you look at my weightloss pattern you can see which weeks I didn't follow it.

I'm really giving SW a bad name having been going for 8 months and still got 4 stone to go! I think I need someone to come and sort me out lol!
