ok so i started my diet on Monday 9th.. and out of curiosity got on the scales this morning to find that i have lost 2lbs.. ok so i know its not much but im so happy with myself if i carry on at 1lb a day ill have lost a stone within two weeks :) and with losing those 2lbs i am not overweight anymore i am just on the last notch of 'fine' :D

Hey there! Well done on your 2lbs! However, without wishing to rain on your parade, it is very, very unusual to lose 1lb a day. Most people have a good first weeks loss mainly down to water loss, this could be what you are seeing now. You may find that come next Monday you haven't lost anymore than your current 2lb, you may be pleasantly surprised and find you have lost more....but like I said, a pound a day is most unusual!

Remember that 1lb of human body fat is approx 3500 calories, therefore you would have to be not eating and doing about 4 hours of exercise a day to lose 1lb of fat.

This is not to say you won't have a good weeks loss though, some people on here have lost more than 2lb some weeks!! So keep up the positive attitude, and good luck :D

haha yeah i gathered that i thought maybe the scales weren't quite accurate tdy so i probs haven't lost anything but i like the thought lol xx
