I started Slim fast Last year (after having my son) It worked amazinly ive lost 4 stone in total so far!!!!
however im still not at my target weight but i have totally fallen off the wagon, i am picking at EVERYTHING, and everything is CHOCOLATE! I just cant seem to help myself. I dont know what to do.
Every morning i wake up and think... Yup, This is the day the diet starts, and by 10am ive messed it up already!
i have totally lost my slim-fast mojo.
has this happened to anyone else, and how did you over come it!

i really need to exercise also, but cant be "bothered" i feel so pants about it all, ive got no idea why im eating such c**p :-(

any words of wisdom out there???

I feel like this a lot, I think it's hard knowing that the chocolate will taste so good and also because it's just so easy to eat it. But you have to keep in mind the amazing feeling you'll get after 1. you've exercised, and 2. when you see that number on the scales going down :) That's the only thing that gets me through it - I'm sure no one REALLY likes having to count calories and cut back on all those nice desserts and takeaways and whatever, but oh that feeling of accomplishment when you're reaching your goals is hard to beat, and isnt a feeling any chocolate bar can give you!

You've done it before, so you can definitely do it again, it's just a case of when! I get days like this where I just really *want* to eat crap (she says with a pack of Crunchie Rocks by her side...!) and I let myself, but I don't let myself do it too often. Sometimes it's just something I have to ride out, because on the whole, I want that amazing feeling of losing weight more than I want the momentary feeling of 'mmmm...chocolate!'

you will get a lot of support on here. would it be possible to clear all your cupboards from junk food and make a fresh start?
how about putting the baby in the buggy and going for a walk? maybe buy a pedometer (only cost from £3) and try and beat your total steps each day!
dieting is hard and we are here the same as you trying to get off all the extra weight. you have done great so far and just think how hard it would be if you got back to how you was when had lots to lose or even more! stick with it. yes have the occasional treat. you will soon see the weight start to fall off again :D

Firstly congratulate yourself on the 4 stone you have already lost!thats an amazing amount, so well done!!
Everyone has bad days, and your being honest about it instead of being in denial!the fact that you have asked for motivation on here shows you know its just a blip and want to rectify it.
why dont you use the thread someone has started aboout the 100 cal snacks, theres loads of chocolatey yummy ones on there! and work those into your snacks, then your still getting your chocolate fix (!) but sticking to the plan as well!!??
Dont be disheartened :D

C`mon girl u can do it *boots up bum* ditch the chocolate from the house for a couple of weeks buy some low cal snacks even if they are chocolate keep them in the range then you get the best of both worlds YOU CAN DO IT WE HAVE FAITH IN YOU and you have done fantastic so far

Hey!!

You've had some great advice above!! My advise might be slightly controversial, but here goes!!

Slimfast is supposed to be approx 1300-1500 cals, but when you're picking you're probably having quite a few more. If you don't feel atvthe moment that you can do it without all the treats, and need the little pick-me-ups (although I agree with above that the best pick-me-up will be seeing the scales move), why not allocate you an extra couple of hunrded cals for controlled treatage?! This will mean you're over SF recommend but still under by enough that you can STS or see small losses.

Good luck with it, we all stall, and we can all get back on it if we want it enough!!
