Soon to be starting maintanence and scared

Pretty much as the title says. I need to start hopping up the plans and maintaining my weight loss. I am 12st 13 at last official WI and between 5'10 and 5'11 on my CDC tape measure (i always thought i was 5'9) anyway bmi of 25 is 12st 3, 12st 7 or 12st 11 depending on which height.

At the very start i set my target as 11st exactly but to be honest I don't think there is another 2 stone to come off me maybe 7-10lb at most. I have some piccys in the gallery if you want to look.

I am currently on SS+ and have been for 7 weeks I am losing roughly 5lb a fortnight but I will be moving up to 810 next week for probably 2-3 weeks then 1000 and beyond.

Is it normal to be terrified?? I think I have quite a healthy outlook on maitaining, its all about balance, having the odd naughty treat is ok and not cheating as long as it is not a daily occurance. I am looking forward to having fruit again as I miss having apples and bananas. Maintanence still scared the life out of me though and I cannot remember where i have put my little CD booklet either.

Welcome Purple Pixie, you def. sound in the right thought pattern to start maintaining.....I found it difficult at first due to emotional reasons, but really 1000cal is a good plan, you get to have fruit and add some carbs etc. A challenge to be aware of is that for most people from 810cal and above you will be out of ketosis, that means hunger and temptation may set in, maybe start preparing yourself mentally now.

You look great by the way! congrats.....I agree, 2 stone may be too much. But it is your body, gotta go with what feels right for you xox

I do think 2 stone is too much I really don't think my body would tolerate such a loss without bordering on ill looking. I will see how I go but realistically I know i will not be hitting my 'goal' as it is unreasonably low.

Still can't find my CD booklet which is a pain because it had a few nice looking maintance meal ideas in it. I will find it tonight.
