Soup tips

Just having an asparagus soup & was sick of it being lumpy. I had vaguely remembered someone saying to add a little cold water first to blend out the lumps! Worked a treat, nice smooth soup.

Anyone else got any good tips?

Hi, I had problems with all the soups to begin with. I put the hot water in a measuring jug, sprinkle the soup on top and blitz with a hand blender. Asda sell a smart price one for around £4.20 and its great.

HTH :)

Oh that's great I'll definitely pick one up from asda, didn't realise they were that cheap, thanks!

I love the minestrone soup & the asparagus one.

Neither did I until I looked for a replacement. OH had 'helpfully' tidied away my expensive one. No way was I paying a lot of money for another one as I knew as soon as I bought it, I'd find my original one. And thats exactly what happened lol. Here's the link. They have plenty in my store :)

I tend to stick to the vegetable soup, I wasnt that fussed on the others :)
