yes it is allowed, watch the sodium content of these waters though as it might be high and if you drink a lot it will lead to water retention in your body. And too much sparkling water can make you hungry (especially the high sodium variety). But used in a wise way, sparkling water can tame hunger quite well ;) enjoy
