Spiced egg custard

i made this today but i am really disapointed, tasted really cheesy. any alternatives?

The main ingredient was Fromage frais so i am guessing its that, but just wondered if anyone else had made a different way.

I'm guessing that you used fromage frais instead of milk to save your HEXA or syns? It's not worth the compromise in taste IMO for egg custard.
I make mine with my milk allowance a couple of times a week because I love it. I often put a crumbled apple and sultana Alpen light in it too.

Tbh i didnt actually know what you normally used i just followed the sw recipe, will save milk next time.
