Hi there,

Does anybody know the pro points for home made sponge cake please? I only had a small slice but dreading the answer :sigh:

The whole cake had:

200g flour
200g margarine
200g sugar
3 eggs
some normal jam
Icing sugar buttercream

Please someone can you give me an estimate if you don't know!

Found the nutritional values for a piece of homemad sponge cake which was:


In one slice (53g) of cake. So i worked out the points and it was 7pps per slice but because I had jam and buttercream I added another propoint and made it 8. Definetely not worth it!

I put your cake ingredients into the WW Recipe Builder and it says if you split the cake into 12 it's approx 9pp. :)
