Hi esk140 --

Welcome back. I started back ssing 6 days ago -- and will meet with a CDC on Wednesday. It does work fast... what I need to work on is just getting there -- and then most of all staying there. I have to make the big changes to keep the weight off... and understand that they have be for life! :cry:

Please drink all your water. One of the risks of a VLCD (i.e. ketosis) is dehydration.

"... it may lead to dehydration. In an effort to restore balance, the body eliminates ketones through the urine, causing increased unrination." Low Carb Bible

So, you are probably heading into ketosis and that headache may be an indicator of dehydration.

Hang in there... it gets easier.

day 11 , I think I am doing really good.
going away on the weekend for 8 days
so, I am going off plan a bit
I will be taking bars and boxes and I will try to eat them when I can for my meals
when I come home 100% until the end.
