Hi everyone, I just wanted to say hello and looking forward to visiting the forum again on a regular basis for some inspiration and support! Last year I lost nearly 3 stone on the Cambridge Diet but as soon as I came off it I started eating as I pleased again and put around half of it back on. I have been suffering from acid reflux which I put down to stress and weight and could hardly eat anything without getting heartburn before Christmas on a daily basis, even when I was just living on bland vegetables! I lost a few pounds due to this but at Christmas time I resumed back to my normal diet once I realised that it didn't make my reflux any worse (in fact, it appeared to improve slightly!) so therefore I have had no motivation or strength to eat healthily. I have been using MyFitnessPal in conjunction with the FitBit activity tracker on and off and this is what I'll be using to help me calorie count. My husband has lost over a stone in the past few months through this method as well as going to the gym and even though I've called him crazy for counting every single little calorie and recording it, deep down I know it's the only way to do it so here goes...wish me luck and all the best to you all! I'm currently 15 and a half stone and need to get down to 9 and a half!
