Starting tomorrow and some queries

Hi All,

Happy New Year to you all.

I'm going start tomorrow after trying it out for a week last November. There never seems to be a good time to start but I have a good clear two weeks from tomorrow.

Anyway the queries:

1. Is SS & SS+ the only two CWP plans that put you into ketosis?

2. Why can't you have milk in tea or coffee but you can have a glass of milk?

3. Why is there limits on herbal tea and can't have the tea from the flower variety?

4. Why does the bars get introduced after 2 weeks?

That's me for now would appreciate some feedback. I hope this works for me as that week I did I only lost 2 pounds and felt rough for 7 days and then threw the towel in.

Thanks
Sammy

I'm not an expert and someone who's been doing it a while will prob along later to confirm

the bars are after 2 weeks because they have a higher amount of carbs in, so its best to be established in ketosis before introducing them.
I always had milk from my allowance in my tea and I know others do to, I've not been told otherwise and it didn't effect Ketosis.
Some people do go into ketosis on 810 but its really down to what you have for your meal or if you have extra shakes, it varies from person to person
Not sure about the flower tea

Good luck with your restart x

1. Is SS & SS+ the only two CWP plans that put you into ketosis? No - Eating low carbs will put you into ketosis, you don't have to be on a VLCD at all, atkins also works with ketosis.

2. Why can't you have milk in tea or coffee but you can have a glass of milk? You can, I have never been told this.

3. Why is there limits on herbal tea and can't have the tea from the flower variety? You can't have any herbal teas that contain fruit as the carb/sugar levels are higher.

4. Why does the bars get introduced after 2 weeks? They are mostly higher in carbs and will slow down weight loss and ketosis (I have only found the chewy bars to be higher)

Hope this helps!
