steak pie help

    i am having cravings for a nice steak pie, does anyone have a (hopefully) syn free steak pie recipe please???

    help me cure my cravings!!!!

    (ps i dont like mash so i can substitue it with that)

    Hi,

    think you would have to syn it but if you topped the pie only with a small square of ready made filo pastry or puff pastry.Certainly do able but would need a few syns to do it.

    the hotpot looks lovely but it is the topping i am after, or at least a low syn topping? how many is there in the filo pastry/ puff pastry?

    Filo pastry is the lowest in syns

    Filo Pastry Sheets, 270g pack, frozen, 45g sheet = 5½
    Filo Pastry Sheets, 270g pack, chilled, 22.5g sheet = 3

    Beef & Mushroom Pie
    Used 46g of Jus-Rol Puff Pastry, approx 10 syns!
    Well worth it for a proper pie!
    I just made up the beef, mushrooms and onions in the slow cooker with some stock and black pepper then topped it with the pastry and cooked in the oven. xxx

    ooo looks delicious, is that 11 syns then for all the pack? the pie is always split between a few so i could get away with that for tea one night! fab!!!!!
