Hello!

Is stewed fruit still free?? Im really wanted stewed apple, pear and cinnamon in my readybrek!!!! My daughter has it and always smells sooooo yummy!! :drool:

Stewed fruit isn't free. You can have it as a heb or syn it.

When fruit it cooked, mashed, blended etc, the chemical structure of the fruit changes, which means your body doesn't use as much energy to process the fruit, it doesn't keep you full as long, and the sugars are more easily absorbed, which is why it's no longer sin-free

How do you work out a syn value?? xx

They give them in the book for cooked fruit - I don't start back at class till thursday, so haven't got access to the syn values at the moment.
