Still going :)

Hi guys. I used to post on here now and again and thought I would start again. I've been a slimming worlder since January 2009, so nearly 5 years and up until Xmas last year I had lost 7 1/2 stone. Me and my husband hit a rough patch and I put on a stone since then, although I still attend meetings every week and stick to plan 99%!!!! We don't eat out very much. The last meal we had out was in April for my hubbies bday.
I had even doing extra easy but found I had come to a stand still with my slimming and was getting really frustrated. So this week I'm doing red and green days alternating. Hopefully it'll give me a boost. I'm a stay at home mom and spend all my time on my own. I go for a look around the shops every now and again and I walk a lot. I don't really socialise, as I don't have any friends apart from the moms at the school. So I'm not really spurred into eating out and drinking. In fact I don't drink at all. I gave success express a go last week but I couldn't get used to it.
Today I'm doing red. So far I've had: mushroom omelette with 30g cheese (a) and 2 slices malted nimble (b) and a mullerlight for breakfast. Then for lunch I had chicken, swede, carrots, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli and red cabbage. I had 4 tsp chicken bisto best (2) and a mullerlight.
For tea tonight I'll have a chicken salad sandwich with my other b choice for the bread. And followed by melon and pineapple.

I have 4 stone and 9lbs in total. Don't get me wrong, it's been a long journey and I have been backwards and forwards to every slimming club in my area (was getting a bit embarrassing) and tried every fad diet going! I joined slimming world 8 weeks ago, determined to get to target. It got to a point where I thought 'enough is enough'- I need something sustainable long term. I'm really enjoying being back to class and having the weekly weigh in keeps me focused. I have found a new love for cooking - I used to throw some sort of healthy eating ready meal in the microwave and think that it was fine because it had 'healthy' written all over the packet! I've got about 9lbs before I get to target and I'd really love to do that before Christmas but my losses have really slowed down so I'm going to start posting on here to keep the momentum up!!

I find slimming world to be the easiest to stick to as the only thing you count really is syns. And it does inspire you to cook from fresh instead of convenience foods. If you're struggling then try success express. If you can figure it out it's supposed to be really effective. I have dropped my target. I did plan to lose another three stone but I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel so I'm settling for another stone and a half and see if I can get to that. The more you lose the harder it becomes. I'm just glad that I've lost what I have so far or I wouldn't be sat here typing this. Let me know how it goes hun x x x

I've heard people mention success express. I'm going to dig out my books and have a gander. A little push would really help as I've got a wedding to go to next weekend so have set myself a mini target for then.
Set myself up a diary on here to jot everything down as I've got out that habit!!
I weigh in on Thursdays so I'll keep you posted!
