Morning all!

Right, I've been doing CD now for over 5 months - have had no real problems and have lost loads of weight quite happily - I now have less than a stone to go to reach my target - so far so good :D

However! This past week has been really really hard - I've been starving hungry all week, I only lost 1lb last weigh-in, and I've come incredibly close to throwing in the towel and stuffing my face - I've not really felt tempted at all during the last 5 months :(

Why??????? Why now when I'm so close to goal? I'm currently on 790 and am moving up to 1000 on Thursday (after my weigh-in) so I'm hoping it's just my body saying I need more calories.

I'm fed up lol - sorry for the moan :p

it could be just that your thinkin its grand ive lost enough (which you have well done by the way) and it would be ok to eat now! Just stick it out and keep going until you reach your goal. You have done so well there is no point now in wreckin it, it will only make things harder and longer to get to your goal.

WOw Corinne...your weight loss is impressive. You are definately an inspiration!

I haven't been doing cd that long, but you have done so well so far and I'm sure that 1 stone will come off in no time!

Hi corrine,

I know what you mean about been on the diet for ages i think some of it is a time thing,(not eaten for months and im sick of it!) and some of it is a complaicent thing (i look so much better than i did when i started !) that your mind starts to play tricks with you, i know mine does i just want to taste food, i dont eat it as i said in my post this morning its definatly the head as the heart still wants to loose!!!

Hang in there hun ... you are sooo close now. I know it's tough going as your up the plans and lose more slowly, but just stay focused on the new you that will have food control by the end ;):D. You have done incredibly well so far - hats off to you. You can see this thing through over the next couple of weeks.

Grit those teeth girl - you're so close you can smell it!!!

I think you could be spot on that your body is trying to tell you it needs more food! I certainly found the same, went along with no problems and then suddenly started to struggle about 1.5 stone from goal, moved up the plans steadily and all was okay. You've done amazingly well hun, hang in there for this one last little push to goal.
