I really need to loose weight. At 4foot 11 and at 12stone 6 I am feeling lethargic and very self confident. I have been trying for 2years now to be motivated to loose weight joining slimming world and weight watchers and not succeeding. I an now trying to start dieting again following ww but at home. I really need to change my eating habits for life. Has anyone any words of motivation to help me in my journey.

you can do whatever u put ur heart and soul in to! if you have a slip up, or dont lose as much as u would like as quickly as u would like, dont give up - keep trying and u will get there. another thing, if u lose a pound, dont think its only a pound. a pound of fat is about a mug full :)

What keeps me motivated is thinking a kg is approx 2.2lbs or A big bag of sugar. Try carrying one of those around all day. You'd get tired!! and when I lose that I think of all the sugar I'm not eating being left behind!! :) I might be a bit weird but the thought is good.

hi there and :welcome: to the forums! I agree with the posts above - break your weight loss goal weight down into smaller chunks e.g 7 pound targets and treat yourself when you get to each one - this is what I did and it makes the whole process of losing weight much easier.

You honestly can achieve whatever you put your mind to and remember you are losing the weight for you and no one else!
