SW chips

I always do mine in the micro first... saves drying them off!!!
I do them as a whole potato and pierce the skins for about 10 mins, then take them out, chop them up with skins on and put them on a preheated tray in a preheated oven for about 20 mins or so.
I have a fan oven, and I put them in at top temp, which is 250.

I had sweet potato ones and they were very nice I didnt bother microwaving them first they made a nice change:)

nettie xx

seems there are 100 different ways to make them and they're all yummy!!

I cut mine up then microwave on a plate (no water) for 3 minutes. I then spray with frylite on a baking tray and put the min the oven around 180c for around 20-30 mins. Gorgeous. I cut them mor into wedges though than chips.

MommyB can you tell me exactly how you made these chips, im going to pretend there really naughty making them far more tasty!

i cut a large potato into chips ( skin on) did them in the microwave for about 8-10 mins, meanwhile i heated up a baking tray, sarayed with a tiny bit of oil ( i have one of the ww oil sprayers that gives out a measured amount, half a teaspoon). spread the chips on the hot tray , sprayed the remianing oil on and baked for about 25 mins on the hottest setting. i had them with a can of princes stewing steak in gravy, and peas.

Small new pototoes cut into 4 wedges are really great and I often take some for lunch the next day, bung them in the microwave with 28gms grated cheese on top (hexA) They are really yummyxx
