SW Defector - Come on Weight Watchers, lets do this!

    Hi All,

    Last Wednesday I had my last Weigh In at SW, after 17 weeks I was fed up and demotivated but after losing 1st1.5lb I did not want to undo my hard work so made the change to Weight Watchers. I went to my first meeting on Saturday and am currently on the Simple Start plan. I have stuck to it rigidly but am struggling slightly with the flexibility and cannot wait to go on to propoints.

    After looking through some amazing food diaries, I have decided to start one myself! Hopefully with some of your support and advice, I can shift some of this weight. I am 23 years old, graduated from uni last year (where most of this weight was gained), living with my gorgeous boyfriend and my weight is the only thing stopping me from being truly happy.

    I can't remember what I ate on Saturday and Sunday, however I assure you it was all good!

    Monday 30th June

    Breakfast - Smoothie made from banana, pineapple, raspberries and fat free natural yoghurt
    Mid Morning Snack - Apple
    Lunch - 2 crumpets and 1/2 tin of baked beans.
    Dinner/Tea - Homemade Chips with frylight, Frylight Fried Egg, Beans and 1xWarburtons Brown Thins
    Evening Snack - 25ml Gin with Slimline Tonic and 1 WW Caramel Cake Bar.

    (Will update tonight with my meals for today!)

    I am slightly worried that as I have come straight from SW where I rarely ate bread, that this week I could potentially gain due to introducing calorie controlled bread items into my diet.

    I would love people to subscribe to my thread for support but also just to make new friends. Please. I am nice, honest! :)

    I live in Kidderminster now but grew up just outside Wolverhampton and went to school there, family live there etc!

    Ahh small world, it appears we have crossed over. Although I only moved to Kidderminster in December, before that I lived in Leicester for 4&1/2 years for uni :)

    Are you on Propoints then? How long have you been on Weight Watchers? Do you like it? :) x

    I went to wolves uni. And I'm on my 2nd week doing it from home so went straight onto pro points. I'm finding it good. Did sw for a bit just like the freedom of having connvience food. I'm enjoying it atm xx

    My weigh in is on a Saturday morning, which is quite nice and gives me a fresh start each weekend.

    I'm finding it okay, having moved from slimming world I am finding it odd to be able to eat bread again, even if it is calorie controlled bread! Quite looking forward to going on to pro points though :)

    How about you? Do you do pro points or F&H? Do you like it? X

    Just checking in with my diary for yesterday :)

    Tuesday 1st July

    Lunch - Crumpets and Beans ( I know, so far it is the same as Monday!)
    Afternoon Snack - Fat Free Natural Yoghurt with Frozen Berries.
    Dinner/Tea - Chicken, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion on a Brown Sandwich thin, with a few homemade frylight chips.
    Evening Snack - Airpopped popcorn with my extra treat of 2tsp low fat spread melted down and stirred in.

    Still only ate the one extra snack though! Never thought that would be the bit I struggled on.

    Hope everyone else had a good day yesterday :) x

    I'm just looking forward to getting on to propoints because even though I have swapped from SW to WW, the Simple Start plan is fairly similar just with the addition of some bread. I'm excited to be able to have something I fancy using my points and then just reign in my other meals accordingly!

    I haven't had fast food in about 20 weeks and it is KILLING me. With Slimming World there was literally no convenience food. If you were out and hadn't eaten then there was barely any choice, especially on a budget! I remember my family eating a mcdonalds and I just sat there eating a packet of ham and an apple. I could have cried! You can't live like that in the long term, it has to be flexible.

    Hi hun am doin propoints i did do the fillin and healthy think that is what its caused only i gained with it i also used to do slimming world and hated it lol am not a cooker well done on joinin ww hun after ur sliming world how many propoints will u be on xx

    You can def have takeaways with ww I had two this week tut tut and I still lost, make sure you grab a treat it's what weeklies are for xx

    That's what I am worried about! I literally had 2 days from deciding to stop SW and start WW so I am worried that my body is still used to slimming world however I am also eating bread on top of that! We will see though I guess! If I do gain I am going to try and not be disheartened because I expected it and then just start propoints!

    The website told me that I will get 38 daily points I think?!

    I don't think I get weekly points on Simple Start because I get two treats a day instead, is that correct Sugar Fairy? x

    No I don't think you do get weeklies on simple start I didn't do that I just went onto points my first week, xx
