i keep 'sweetener' in recipes on here.. sorry for being thick but is this like splenda? or the tablet sweetener?

If it's in a recipe then it will be granulated (like sugar) sweetener rather than the tablets which are usually for putting in hot drinks. Splenda do one but so do all the other manufacturers.

Nom ally mean something like splenda or sweet and low powder stuff.
However there is a new sweetener that uses stevia which is still free but it's meant to be better.

I have some of the stevia stuff, the one i have is truvia, I think it has an aftertaste. It is very very sweet too, you could probably use a 1/4 of the amount or less compared to sugar and get the same effect.

I personally don't like it, but others said they can't taste the aftertaste so may just be me lol
