syn calculates online need help?

Hi. Yes, as far as I'm aware, if the main ingredient is a free food, put that in then input the rest of the nutritional information and it will work out the syns accordingly.

It really depends what you are working out the syn value for. There are some foods that do not qualify for a free food allowance even though the ingredients may all be free foods eg shop bought soups and jars of pasta/curry sauce. There is online help about how to use the syn calculator which includes advice on how to work out if your product gets a free food allowance :)
