Syn calculator!

Hi,

I've just bitten the bullet and signed up to 3 months on SW online... the first place I went was the syn calculator, punched in the numbers from my banana and custard Muller Light to test it (only packaging to hand) and it says 5 syns!!!!!

Surely that's not right!? I thought they were free!

When should and when shouldn't I take notice of the syn calculator?!

Helloooo... no, because I wasn't sure that that was the case. I thought only fat free natural yogurt was definitely free, everything else could have a syn value..?

So, if I don't "know" if something is free, what is the best way to check?

To the right of the syns calculator is a calculator FAQ, on it, it lists the foods which do not qualify for a free food allowance.

Flavoured yogurts are of course plain yoghurt which are flavoured, so they do get a free food allowance. So select yoghurt as your free food, enter the nutritional info as asked, and it will give you the accurate syn value.
