Hi - I'm doing my first 'Slimming World food shop' this weekend but have decided to start my journy today afyter being motivated by the magazine. However, this means i've got non-slimming world friendly foods in the house to use up. Ive not done my membership yet so havent got access to all the stuff.

Please can anyone help me with what syns are in the following (Extra Easy please):

Saisburys Be good to yourself cottage cheese with pineapple (half tub)
Tesco fresh beef meatballs (12 pack) - per meatball or half pack please
Lloyd Grossman Tomato and Basil pasta sauce (half jar)

Tesco butchers half fat 8 pork sausages (per sausage)
Ainsley Harriett Chicken & Veg cup a soup
    Twinings Lemon & Ginger tea
Narins cheese oat cakes (6 pack)

I think my meatballs and sauce (tonights dinner) will take me over the syns allowance but at least I'm starting to get my head around it!

    Thank you :)

Off the top of my head, if your Tesco sausages are the ones I got at the weekend (I think mine were light choices ones) then they're 1 syn each.

All teas (without adding sugar, milk, etc) are free.

    Hope these help :)

I couldn't find the cheese oatcakes. Two possible alternatives : Cheesey Oatcakes (gluten free) each 2 or Oaty cheese bakes per bag 23g 5

You can use 1 syn per 20 calories to work out the pasta sauce, cuppa soup and oatcakes as there is no free food allowance involved but they will be pretty high sorry.
Anything else and you can search in the syn values sub-forum which is where questions about syn values are usually posted xx
