just had a look in the book and it says cooking sauces 4.5 all types, does that mean just the low fat ones or any sauce? i just looked at my homepride curry sauce, and it has less calories, fat etc than the asda gfy korma sauce that is supposedly healthier!

to be honest the home pride tastes far better so hoping its not packed with syns!

4.5 syns is not for whole packet or jar just part most have high syns going up to 25 syns for some homeprid
you need 20 calories/1 syn to work out whole jar or packet

The syns quoted in the book are only averages - some will be a lot higher in syns than that. You can either look the individual brand up online if you are a group member or use the 1 syn for every 20 calories rule of thumb to work them out yourself.
