Poppy, I would say you are better to use at least some of them as you won't feel so deprived of treats! Anywhere from 5-10 a day is probably good although I frequently use all of mine and I can't say it has affected my losses.

You could start using them and if your losses slow down, reduce the number you use then. But I think as a rule, sw would encourage you to use at least 5 a day.
