Just wondered for those who have switched from cd whether they preferred the cd products or are exante products tastier? I don't mind much about the shakes (thinking if switching for cost reasons, plus I never see CDC!) as I don't like em much apart from cd choc mint but really love my cd peanut and cranberry bars. Are exante soups and bars nice? Please say yes lol! Or if they taste the same as cd I'd be happy!

    Dear Crystal,

I think the Exante products are much nicer, the shakes are not as sweet as the Cambridge ones, but the vanilla Exante shake is really nice with a teaspoon of coffee added and the Tomato and Basil soup is also nice with some Curry Powder added. The bars are also more filling than Cambridge and you can get away with eating them in public, without everyone thinking that they are diet bars! I also really look forward to eating them!! Hope the above helps!! Tasha x

I done cambridge for a while last year so can maybe help. I find exante shakes are maybe a tiny bit blander, but still really yummy! The exante soups are better than CD ones i find (altho im not really a soupy person so i stick to shakes) and the bars are delicious too. Unfortunately again i cant have the bars cos i have really bad stomach problems and they dont agree with me....but they are yum!

If you dont feel you need a counsellor for support exante is defo the way to go, so much cheaper and anyway theres loads of people on here so the support is still there if you need it!

Good luck whatever you decide xxx

Thanks to you both! I'm gonna give it a go, maybe get stuff for a week first, have about 2 weeks left of cd left. I just think if I don't even see my CDC, she drops stuff off really and doesn't ask or talk about anything then I might as well do exante.
Thanks again and see you here soon, will be lurking around :)

I gave my Exante shales to my nephew who has done Cambridge on and off for 2 years, he told me a few weeks later he didn;t find them as tasty when compared with Cambridge. I wouldnt know any different as it was my first time on a VLCD.

I think Exante is so convenient, you can order off the website and you don't have to worry about visiting your consultant when you are running out of products. I also think that the support on this website is better than any CD consultant that I have been to! Tasha xx

I have to be honest and say that I do think CD products are nicer. But exante is fine-just wish they had more flavours. The shakes are not sweet enough for me so I add sweetener. The soups are nice -I just add black pepper to mine. The bars I hated at first but like them now.

Thanks guys, yeah seems more convenient to just get off the net but must admit I'm worried about not liking the bars, having said that I hated cd stuff when I first started so could grow to like them hopefully :)
Are the losses the same? 3-4lbs a week?
