Tea Question

A New Woman
My pharmacist said only leaf teas not flower-based ones. I know next to nothing about plants and herbs and stuff like that. Please help:
Ginger is a root. Are we allowed this?
What about Rooibos tea? And Camomile? nettle? jasmine?
I also developed a liking for raspberry leaf tea towards the end of my pregnancy. is that ok?
I need a change from PG tips, green tea, coffee and peppermint.

Ooo thats a good question i was told only peppermint or green or black tea

phoned helpline re rooibos tea was told its ok to drink dont know about the others if you phone helpline free phone they will tell you.

Deffo no citrus / fruit based teas sorry - it's the citric acid that can kick you out of ketosis.

I'm bang into green tea now, it's an acquired taste but as your tastebuds change you may come to like it - helps speed up the metabolism too (bonus !)

The green tea is suppose to help u loose weight. Its rotton stuff though. Not worth the sacrifice

peppermint always makes me feel as though i've had 1 of my shakes and really staves off the 'head hunger'
