Tea

I am doing weightwatchers propoints & just wondering if I have a cup of tea with a small bit of fat free milk and a spoon of canderel would that be one pro point?

Hi just looked it up on my app and it says 50mls of skimmed milk is 0PP.
I normally allow 100mls for 3 cups and that 1pp x

To be honest, I never tend to take any points for a single cuppa with milk...but then I only take milk in my tea at brekkie (and use maybe 25mls of milk, so it's not worth it!), as I tend to drink Earl Grey during the day & have that black. How many cups would you have a day? The milk is the only thing you'd be pointing if you're using sweetners, and 100mls should do a good few mugs of tea. :)

Hi there,

I'm a huge tea addict and was trying to lose weight and came across this brand of tea called cho yung, I haven't tried it yet but was thinking of trying some, it's supposed to help you lose weight. Has anyone else heard of it or tried it? xxx

Not heard of that tea :0/

I have heard that drinking any tea without milk is suppose to aid weightloss though green tea especially. I'm not keen on tea without milk though x

I've heard of it, and gather that it's basically green tea with a bunch of other things bunged into the mix...lotus, and so forth, as I understand. Never tried it though, as I personally don't like the taste of green tea.

Tea without milk is a bit of an acquired taste, I fancy. Took me a long time to get used to drinking my Earl Grey black, but really I fancy Earl Grey tastes worse with milk! lol. I think really for black tea drinkers that Lady Grey would be a good starter, as it's relatively mild in taste and goes lovely with a slice of lemon. :)

Ooh thanks guys. I didn't like having to point the one spoon of sugar in my tea every time! And actually canderel isn't that bad :) I would only drink 2 cups of tea a day and the odd day I might have 3
