Team 14 - Scream if you wanna go faster! - Official Thread

Another one this morning. I need to stop jumping on the scales - but however, that makes it ONE STONE. I drank water for Scotland yesterday - felt as if it was about to start coming out of my ears :) and have been doing same today.
Funnily enough I feel really good - much better than other days. Out of the office on site tomorrow so will need to try to keep it up.
Hope all is well with you.

Fantastic. Its lovely to reach than 1 stone mark isn't it?

Hi Claire

It is. Hope you had a good weekend. I have been so cold and now have to drink almost all the water as quickly as I can or else I will be up at the loo all night long.
We've been away for the weekend - and while it's only a couple of hours by car and ferry - there are no real options for toilet breaks along the way :)
Hope the diet is going well.

Hi. Been ill this weekend so more hungry than normal. Only lost 1 pound this week so my fabled slow losses have started already! I just hope they speed up next week.

So all in all a bit crap today! Hope yours is better.

I am sorry you have been sick - and also about the pound - it's not a lot for a week of not eating much, but I suppose that at least it's in the right direction. I have been moaning about FOUR !! so I guess I better stop. The thing is that they registered on the scale on Friday morning - and I still weigh the same after the weekend from diet Hell - I was really starving the whole time.
I don't remember feeling this hungry while ss'ing before, but I sure am this time. Maybe something to do with the cold !
Hope you feel better tomorrow.

I'm hungry most of the time at the moment..not sure if its illness or cold. Probably both!

Am back at work but not feeling that much better. I'm back to my lowest so far again..so I weigh the same as I weighed last weekend! ARGH!

Nevermind I have no choice so onwards and, hopefully, downwards.

Well done. I have been so hungry all day long. Resisted all temptation but I am heading off to bed now - the sooner I am asleep the better. Don't remember feeling like this either of the previous times.

I agree with you - I never could rest easy with being heavy - and now I absolutely hate it - so I guess it's get on with it :)

Not going anywhere this weekend so hopefully it will be easier in my normal routine.

Hope you have a brill weekend.

Nelli

I no sooner comment on the first two down, when another two disappear. Fabulous - well done you. I am so in awe of what you have achieved.

Are you still ss+ ? I had thought about trying that after the first four weeks (which finish today) but I'm afraid that there will be a big slow down - I am already behind my previous attempts - and I am desparate to lose what I need to before our next trip to the US. Those trips were my stumbling ground on the last two occasions as I don't seem to be able to come back and get on with it even though I didn't put on much at all on either trip. I am currently being vague about when I would like to go when J talks about it :)

It has been a very successful week this week...4 pounds down! I've just been carrying on as normal. I did try an SS day on Friday. I was thinking I might do 1 day off, then 1 day on. You could maybe try that? I think SS all the time would be too much for me but if i get to eat every other day that isn't too bad.

I think that might be worth a try - will try a bit longer on ss though because I'd be heartbroken if I sabotaged my diet. Do you know of any good sites (or threads) for help with what can be eaten? I am a veggie and it seems to be quorn (which gives me wind like you wouldn't believe) or cottage cheese. Have searched on here - though maybe I'm just not looking for the right think - and even tried google.

Four pounds is great if you are still having some food.

Right now, I could murder a glass of wine (but I won't). Unlike the last time, where I got "glass of wine" in mind in week one and hankered after one the whole time - I haven't really been thinking about it. However a hard day has its effects and old habits die hard.

I know. I just think how much I'll appreciate food when i can eat it again!

Well not too much! I remember last time I came off CD and have a really tiny risotto. Oh man it was gorgeous!

The past twice, after the first couple of weeks I don't remember really caring too much about food (though if I read back the threads I might see different - but don't think so). It was going on holiday that snookered me. This time I am hungry all the time and finding it much harder because of that. I am 5'9" - had four packs a day on LL and the only 3 on CD and found it enough. Now I am having four some nights and it seems to help a bit but roll on the end of this diet :)

Hope you haven't got snow - we had this morning, but looking out of the office window (we work in a loft conversion so it's not easy to see) it seems to have gone.

I changed my timings yesterday - don't usually eat much at all during the day, so have been having a pack at lunch, one about 7pm and a bar around 9pm. Yesterday I tried having an earlier "lunch", another mid-afternoon and a third at 7. Kept thinking I would still have the late one but never got round to it.

One pound off yesterday morning - wish it was all like week one :) :) :)

Hope you have a good day and have got over being ill.

Nelli
