I think most people hadca gain of some sort over Easter. But thats why we are all here. To help support each other over these bumps
Thanks Tipperary, I find holidays and occasions like Easter, Christmas etc so difficult. I always feel so sorry for myself that I’m constantly trying to loose weight and often say ‘sod it, I’ll start again tomorrow’.

Unfortunately I'm 1lb up but in all fairness I haven't been trying too hard. A more concerted effort will hopefully produce some better results haha. I think my issues is that I can't decide on what diet to do! One day it's fasting, another it's SW then I'm calorie counting. I'm fooling myself and I know it! I need to pick one and stick to it, now which one will it be... :eek:

I am sure Zelle once you decide on a plan the weight will start to drop off. Finding a plan which is right for you is not always that easy. Before u embarked on my SW journey I played around a bit. Calorie counting and low carb. Before I settled on
The right one for me.
 
I have decided! I will be following a modified alternate day fasting schedule. I've read literature by Dr Krista Varady and of all the plans I think this suits me the most. I also have 4 1/2 weeks until a consultant appointment and he wanted me to have lost a stone (since he last spoke to me) but I've actually put on 7lbs! Of course I still have my long term goal of 50lbs by Christmas 2021 so I'm not rushing.

So I now have something to aim for, I have my plan sorted and here I go!!! I will be weighing almost daily (as recommended in the book) so if you all don't mind I might put little updates on this thread to keep me focussed and motivated.
 
2lbs down, back to where I was this day 2 weeks ago and the Easter gain gone - yippee!

Well done Susie58 on your weight loss. It can be disappointing if you don't lose as much as u think u might. Been there and wore the tee shirt. But hopefully you will lose your fluid retention this week so u will get a bigger loss next week.

I figured out a 1lb a week will be more than 2 stone by Xmas. At 1.5lbs, consistently - it will be over 3 stone - and if I can get up to shedding 2lbs a week - 4 stone plus - That would get me into the 17s. I know I'll feel better.

Consistent losses sustained really delivery good results.
 
Funnily enough I had done a little bit of calculating myself today. I have a book I record my daily food intake . Calculating my syns etc. I am coming to my 6 months this Sunday. If I lose a pound or more it will be 3 1/2 plus if I continue in the same way that will be 7 stone lost in a year:wee: that would take me into 13 stone bracket.

Here's to us steadily losing and reaching forecasted goals.
