    I'm going to copy this post onto my Diary but just wanted to tell you all a few things, if I post it here you can all see it.....

    I have been suffering with depression the last couple of months, undiagnosed but I KNOW! I was going to go to the Dr's today BUT I cancelled it last week because......... I have been doing lots of research (wonderful tool the internet - isn't it!?) and decided that I was not at the point that I was unable to carry on or that I wanted antidepressants (nothing at all against them, but I've never taken or needed them before)... I read that diet and exercise, along with St Johns Worts which is used to treat mild to moderate depression COULD be the answer for me. However, most people by the time they get to the Dr's if they were prescribed diet & exercise the only walk they'd do would be straight out of the Dr's office!

    So I've dragged myself and have been on a few bike rides (yes it felt good), I've been SS'ing (I've had bullimia in the past so SS is a great way for me to take back control) & managed to get through the weekend & today I did my 1st aerobic class and managed to get through the entire class without stopping (and felt fantastic after) though very red in the face.

    I've been taking St Johns Worts since Friday & am starting to think that I might be able to get better.

    I am going to start taking horse riding lessons next week, I love horses & am starting to see further than the end of the working day!

    I just wanted to thanks the lots of lovely people on here, who always offer words of encouragement & also to those, like me who suffer silently.

    Anyway I wanted to spread my good feeling and hope I can continue begin to start seeing the world a lot more positively than I have done since Feb xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
