Things to do when hunger strikes...?

Hi everyone and nice to meet you (newbie to CWP)...

I did LL about 10 years ago and I remember having a little mental list of things to do when I got hungry or tempted to cheat... the ones I can remember are:

1) Paint my nails (can't pick at food with wet nails!)

2) Have a bath (if I'm in the bath, I'm not in the fridge - haha)

And that's where my current list ends.

Last time around I was a single woman who could just jump in the bath any time day or night, or spend ages pampering myself... This time I'm a wife and mum to two preschool age children (4 and 1), so neither option overly realistic.

Would love some inspiration!

i have a fizzy water and am learning to knit socks so i sit down with those. its quite a learning curve as ive never knitted before and the circular needle is tiny so it keeps my hands and my mind busy.
