    Hey All,
Not been on for a while, so will give you a bit of history.

I started LL in Jan 09 and lost about 4 stones, but started picking just before the end of development, then kept trying to get back on it, but couldn't.

Been doing SW for a couple of months, on and off, but feeling really down at the fact that I've put on 3 stones again since giving up.

I would like to lose about 6 stones, but it's so hard being on a diet and just losing 1lb a week, I just want to get the weight off as soon as I can.

Are there many 2nd time round success stories? It seems like it's soooooo hard 2ns time around, is it really possible?

What happens when you joing 2nd time round, do you start on developers again, or is there another group?

Not sure if I should consider LLL, or just get back on LL - any thoughts?

Would be great to hear from anyone.

    Louale x

There are a few people around who have manged it second time round. I've just started my second stint and at least we know what we're facing. We know we'll be in ketosis before day 4 and feel a lot better and we know we'll lose loads of weight.

If you start now you could lose 1 to 2 stone by Christmas!

I am on my 2nd time round. Last time I didn't get to goal, didn't do RTM properly and then dropped out, put all the weigh back on in 2 years. So am back on it, week 2 (day 10) and going strong, by my scales I have lost 12 lbs so far.
My intention is to do it all properly this time, I feel quite confident I will. I know how to do it and I know what went wrong last time.
I am sure you can do it.

Like Ali, I am second time around. Feeling very positive, 12 days in, about 10lbs down today which is brill.
I did foundation, developers and then RTM (lost 6.5 stone) but after six months of maintaining things kinda fell apart with my life and old habits came back and before I knew it, I was 4 stone heavier than my lowest. Oops, but such is life. I aim to do it again this time and I can now see that I need to keep a close eye on my emotions and what I do in response to them.
I think state of mind plays a very big part in your success with a program like this and your head needs to be in the right place.
I am running month to month on full abstenance as I don't want to have to do foundation again and my LLC is fine with that.
The speed of your losses first time is impressive, no reason why it won't be the same 2nd time round.
Good luck, you did it once, you can do it again!!!

    Hi Louale,

I'm doing LL for the 3rd time ... I don't think its any harder second or 3rd time round - the secret is to stick to it as getting back on track is soooo hard.

Good luck with whatever you decide - we all seem to come back to LL cos we know it works ;)

FYI depending on how many groups your LLC runs, you could find yourself in a refresher group or joined in with newbies on foundation or a development group. I've had a few different LLC's and they all seem to have their own way of running things
