thinking of trying again

Hello everyone! I am considering starting SW again but the last time I attempted it I didn't lose at all really and was so disappointed. I've tried a few diets since, most recently 5:2 but my weight lost was slower than ever and all back on too after my holiday. I know SW promotes eating as much free food as you want to satisfy but I wonder if last time I ate too much? As in large quantities! Is the key to this portion sizes as well? I'm just so desperate to lose weight for good! Any hints and tips would be amazing! Thank you xxx
 
It's not so much portion sizes but learning to listen and feel your natural full point. The reason so many of us are here is because we have gotten so good (bad??) at ignoring it and going beyond it. Eat until satisfied and that's satisfied not full food coma. I really struggle with this and have a biiiig appetite but I still lose on SW. Last time around I lost nearly 6 stone and never cut back portion sizes. We are all different.
