Three Day Fast and then onto Low cal foods!

Hey guys,

I am new here. I have just started my diet, and my plan is to fast for three days to not only shrink my stomach and make me less hungry but also to kick start my body into losing weight and detox.

I am pleased to meet you all, this looks like a great place!
Hi, I normally only lurk on these forums but I saw this post and decided to join because well... it's exactly what I'm doing.
I'm trying not to think about it but I'm dreading going into work tomorrow. I've been for my run today and just felt too **** for words so I can't see eight hours rushing about a kitchen cooking lush food is going to be fun. :eek: Good luck anyway.

Good luck ... but please be careful you two; don't do anything strenuous if you're not taking in fuel - I'd hate for you to black out, especially if you're driving or operating machinary.

Hi, I am new here aswell and have started the cambridge diet today and am sooo hungry. I really don't know how you can manage to totally starve yourself for three days, good luck but please be carefull

Are you not afraid it will push you straight into starvation mode? The body is very good at looking after itself and will hang onto every ounce it can if it feels threatened. Good luck anyway.

I know everyone is different but sweetie please be careful with starving yourself. I know you are a responsible adult and can make informed decisions so I say the following out of concern...... please eat, your body is the only body you will have so be nice to it.

Anyway, I will stop going on about it. I offer you my full support.

I would like to know how you are going?

That's a really risky strategy, you need food and starving will only confuse your body and ultimately make it harder to lose weight
