Does anybody struggle to lose weight with an under active thyroid i seem to only lose 1/4 to 1/2 pound some weeks

Hi Maria,
I have an underactive thyroid too but if it's regulated by medication you should be alright.
We all lose weight at different rates so don't worry...I took 4 1/2 months to lose 1 1/2 stones.
Just keep plugging along and you'll get to where you want to be.

Hi. I've had an under-active thyroid for the last 15 years. I've been known to lose 4lbs on one occasion. Usually it's 1 or 2lbs. As long as it's coming off it doesn't matter how long it takes. As Janet said, as long as you are on the correct medication it nay take time but keep going.
