OR
Tikka Masala
Free on Green/Original/Extra Easy

Fry light
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 tsp cardomom seeds, crushed
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cumin
1-2 tsp chilli powder
1 level tbsp tom puree
1 onion, grated
100g very low fat natural fromage frais
1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1. Heat pan sprayed with fry lite. Add garlic, cardomom, turmeric, coriander, ginger, cumin and chilli powder and fry for 1 minute.
2. Stir in tom puree and onion and cook for 3-4 mins. Add 142ml water, bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 mins.
3. Pour in the fromage frais, coriander and lemon juice, heat until hot (not boiling otherwise the fromage frais will curdle) and serve immediately.

You could add cooked chicken at any point during this recipe.

I just use a jar of Patak's Tikka Masala curry paste! It's the lowest of the curry pastes at only 1 syn for a level tbsp which is perfect for one serving.

curry paste

if you use the pataks curry paste, do you add to the total, and how many tbsp for a whole tub of total?
